I hold an Hp Photosmart 7660 printer and I was competent to connect it to my Macbook OSX but it prints documents in code. For example if I print a word document or webpage it will come out surrounded by random numbers and correspondence. Help?
Why wont my Mac and printer connect correctly?
OS X comes with over 1.5 gigs of drivers, but sometimes unsullied hardware comes out, like the HP Photosmart 7660 and OS X doesn't enjoy the drivers for it yet. I've have the same problem beside mine, the drivers should be on the Disc that came next to it.
sounds like wrong printer driver
look on HP's website for the correct driver for your o/s
