What is the best photo printer for a mac thats lower than $200?

Go next to HP. Their printers are both Mac and PC compatible (some even work with LINUX).

As far as printing photos, transport a look at these:

Photosmart C5180 (soon to be replaced by C6280)

Photosmart C6180 (soon to be replaced by C7280)

Photosmart C7180 (soon to be replaced by C8280)

Photosmart D7160, D7260, D7360, D7460

HP.com should have adjectives these printers listed on their website near reviews, information, and pricing. Make sure to go next to an HP printer that uses the new 02 series cartridges. 6 colors surrounded by all and available within a pack with 150 sheets of photo thesis for $36. I own the HP C5180 and it does beautiful photos. Great printer.
The Epson PictureMate is a great little printer, very well under $200 (some around $100), and is right now recognized by the Mac, minus even installing software!

(I have a MacBook near mine).
The HP 7360. It has a touch peak and is only $150. It prints great pictures next to a 6 individual cartridge system. If you would also similar to a copier get the Photosmart C5180. It doesn't own a touch screen but will tender you the same ink and for lone $199. Epson also has polite ink but they don't make machines that closing very long.
